The iconic stone tower standing on a headland at the Cliffs of Moher is to undergo a restoration.
Work on the landmark structure of O’Brien’s Tower will get underway in early February and conclude by May.

The project will include the replacement of existing stair enclosure, staircases and windows and the application of a lime wet dash as well as the repair of the internal face of the stone fabric of the tower
The tower was first built in 1835 and since then, has been visited by millions of people from around the world.
