IBOA fear up to a thousand Bank of Ireland jobs being axed

 A further one-thousand workers at Bank of Ireland face losing their jobs, according to the Irish Bank Officials Association.

Two years ago, the company announced 750 redundancies were being sought.  So far around 350 people have already left.

The bank says any further figures are speculative, but workers are being briefed today on the package that’s on offer
