Ennis has been described as a ‘benchmark’ for the country to achieve in terms of urban cleanliness.
It follows Irish Business Against Litter’s latest Summer survey which identified Clare’s county town as the fifth cleaniest in the country.

Eight of the ten assessed sites in the town, received the top ranking while Ballymaley Business Park and the approach road to the Beechpark Roundabout were deemed ‘moderately luttered’
IBAL Spokesperson Conor Horgan says despite some minor blemishes, its clear Ennis has created a proud culture of keeping its streets immaculate.
