Over 200 jobs have been created in Clare Limerick and Tipperary arising from the fund set up in the wake of the Dell jobs blow in the mid west.

21 of the positions have been created here in County Clare in 15 separate projects under the Dell European Globalisation Fund.
Overall its lead to 245 new jobs established across the region
The 22.8 million euro scheme was founded following Dell’s decision to scale back it’s operations at Raheen, leading to the loss of around 1,900 jobs.
Eamonn Kelly, CEO of the Clare County Enterprise Board, is confident even more jobs will come as a result of this program.
