Ennistymon residents say they’re prepared to take to the streets again after large numbers protested last evening at a notorious traffic blackspot.
Up to 300 people demonstrated at Blake’s Corner where congestion regularly causes severe tail-backs, affecting locals and tourists alike.
Clare County Council confirmed this week that a proposed new inner relief road and bridge will go to the planning stage before the end of the year.
