Hundreds Arrested in ECB Protests

ECB chief Mario Draghi says criticism of the bank is ‘unfair’ – as thousands of anti-austerity protesters clash with police outside its headquarters.

Over 350 people have been arrested so far and over 80 police officers have been injured in the riots, which coincide with the opening of the ECB’s new billion euro skyscraper in Frankfurt.
