Cyclists have travelled from far and wide to tackle some of the most scenic roads in Co. Clare today.
The 2,000 participants in today's An Post Tour de Burren will cover a combined distance that is more than five times the circumfrence of the world, with the bravest riders travelling 160 kilometres.
The event has grown hugely over recent years and Patrick O'Donoghue of the Burren Cycling Club says it's now delivering a major boost to the area
