The Health Service Executive says it's expected that all services – regarding the processing of medical cards – will be restored by later today.

It comes as the executive is trying to fix a technical issue that's led to a stoppage.
Its centralised unit in Dublin hasn't been able to issue cards since last Wednesday because of a glitch in its system.
All applications are being monitored to identify priority cases for when it's back up and running.
