The HSE will launch its new service plan later this morning – setting out how it will spend it's more than 13 billion euro budget next year.

According to the Irish Times, it contains proposals to save money through new waiting lists, possible cuts in services and up to 110 million euro in "probity" savings.
The plan initially predicted the number of medical cards would fall by 125-thousand next year, but yesterday the Cabinet revised that figure to 50-thousand.
The full details will be launched by the Health Minister and the HSE later this morning.
