The HSE has now secured two GP’s to lead the provision of primary care services in East and West Clare.
This week, Mid West Community Healthcare informed members of the Regional Heath Forum West that the roles had yet to be filled, however, offers have since been accepted by two doctors.
Primary Care Teams will operate within areas of the Mid-West region which have been divided into Community Healthcare Networks.

The East Clare Network caters for Tulla, Scarriff, Sixmilebridge and Shannon, while the West Clare Network includes , includes Ennis, Kilrush, Miltown Malbay and Ennistymon.
A manager for each network in Clare has yet to be appointed.
