The HSE claim that a new state of the art facility in Ennis will play a vital role in reducing hospital admissions across the county.
Clare’s first Primary Care Centre, located on Station Road in the town was officially opened by Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly on Friday.
The four-storey centre, developed under the Enhanced Community Care Programme currently offers a range of clinical and diagnostic services, with on-site X-Rays due to be operational in the coming months.
Chief Officer of HSE Mid-West Community Healthcare, Maria Bridgeman says the centre will guarantee convenient access to specialist multi-disciplinary services in the catchment area.
