A Clare-based HSE Patient Advocate claims this region is doing well on cancer outcomes but has a “long way to go”.
The Irish Cancer Society has published new figures showing just three of the National Cancer Strategy’s 28 defined targets have been met.

The research shows that 14 of the aims haven’t been achieved while there’s no data available on seven and it’s considered unlikely that one target will be met by 2026.
