HSE Considers Advertising Feakle GP Post for Third Time

The HSE has indicated it will re-advertise the vacant GP position in the Feakle area, even though a second attempt to find a doctor has failed.

There were no applications for the role before Friday's deadline, and the HSE is reviewing it's next step, but a senior figure has told Clare FM that a third round of ads is likely.

There have been suggestions that a part-time service could be established and the HSE West's Primary Care manager Bernard Gloster its something they will consider.
