HSE Concerned About Rise In Covid Cases In Clare In Coming Days

The HSE’s Director of Public Health in the Midwest has raised concern that cases of covid-19 in Clare will rise over the coming days.

The National Public Health Emergency Team has warned that every indicator for COVID-19 is going in the wrong direction, with the 7-day incidence rate for people aged 19 to 44 more than doubling in the space of 10 days.

It comes amid concern over a new strain of Covid-19 in England, which has shown to be 70 per cent more transmissible, but so far no cases have been confirmed here.
