Rents In Clare Jump By 8.5%

The cost of renting a home in Clare has risen by 8.5% in the space of a year.

The latest daft.ie report shows renters are now forking out 938 euro a month, on average, for a home in the county, which is a 78% jump on its lowest point.

Across Munster rents rose by 8.8% year-on-year, reflecting a sharp fall in availability, with just 232 homes available to rent on February 1st, down by nearly half compared to a year ago.
