Property Prices In Clare Increase By 9% Since Last Year

The average price of a home in Clare has jumped by almost 9% in the last year.

The Daft.ie Third Quarter House Price Report for 2022 shows, however, that despite the increase in costs, the rate of property transactions in Clare continues to rise.

According to the latest Quarterly Daft.ie House Price Report for 2022 , the mean purchase price of a home in County Clare has increased by 8.6%.

This represents the third largest year on year percentage increase in Munster and the 11th Nationwide.

In perspective, at this juncture 12 months ago, the average price of a home in Clare was 20,000 euro less at 219,189 euro, with the average asking price of a home here now coming in at 239,819 euro.

The largest increase in Clare’s property portfolio comes in the way of one bedroom apartments up 22.5% to an average asking price of 102,000 euro.

While a 7.5% increase in the price of 4 bedroom apartments sees the property type command the same price tag of a larger five bed dwelling at 310,000 euro.

However, despite the rise in prices, the banner county has seen an 18% rise in property transactions in the last 12 months with 161 homes changing hands here since the beginning of the year.
