The development will encompass over 27 hectacres across the townlands of Ballyvonnavaum, Coolshamroge, Cloonmore, Deerpark and Manusmore.

25 jobs will be created during the construction period, with a maximum of 15 heavy goods vehicle deliveries on a daily basis during this timeframe.

Once operational, the site would only be subject to the arrival of between 10-15 light goods vehicles for yearly maintenance checks.

It’s proposed that the farm would be operational between 8am and 7pm on weekdays and 8am to 4pm on weekends.

The development was subject to a number of objections, citing concerns over the visual impact, the impact on residents and over the capacity of the existing road network to sustain traffic from heavy and light goods vehicles.

A further information request was issued by the Council in August, submitted in December and the local authority subsequently granted conditional approval this March.
