New House Completions In Clare Up By 40% Between July And September

New house completions in Clare rose by more than 40 percent in the third quarter of the year.

125 new dwellings were finished in this county between July and September.

There was a fairly even spread across all of Clare’s five electoral areas in terms of where these houses were completed in the past three months.

34 were finished in both the Ennis and Killaloe areas, with 23 being signed off on in North Clare.

17 houses apiece were completed in both the Shannon and Kilrush regions between July and September.

The 125 houses in the county are a drop from the 175 that were completed between April and June, which was the highest figure in any three month period here in well over a decade.

Construction here now appears to be up on pre-pandemic levels, with the past quarter’s number a 22 percent increase on between July and September 2019.

444 houses have been completed in Clare so far in 2022, which is already more than the total number finished off in 2021.
