Midwest Simon Reissues Call For Fair Distribution Of Resources To Tackle Homelessness

The CEO of Midwest Simon is hitting out at the government for uneven distribution of resources to tackle the growing number of people entering homelessness.

The latest Department of Housing homeless figures for November have revealed that across that month, an extra 14 adults in the Midwest became homeless; four of those in Clare.

It means 369 adults in the Midwest are still without a permanent home – though the number of homeless children experienced a welcome drop of 23 in that time, from 163 to 140.
