Homeless Agency Novas Calls For Support For Ennis Sleepout Fundraiser

Voluntary homeless agency Novas is holding a first ever sleepout in Clare, to raise vital funding for homeless services in this county.

Friday night will see staff and volunteers, along with high profile names like Clare hurler Podge Collins, brave the cold to sleep outside in O’Connell Square, Ennis overnight.

Novas provides outreach support for those living in their own homes who were formerly homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and also operates Clare’s only homeless hub in Ennis.

Head of Advocacy with Novas Una Burns says the impact of the homelessness crisis cannot be understated.
