Fears Families Being Squeezed Out Of Rental Market As Rents Rise 9% In Clare

Fears are being expressed that families in Clare are being squeezed out of the rental market due to the shortage of one and two-bed accommodation.

The latest Daft.ie report shows that rents in Clare rose by 9% in the third quarter of this year compared to the same time last year.

The average rent in the county is now €1,167, with tenants of three and four bedroom properties seeing rises of over 14%.
