Ennis Housing Developer Says Zoned Land In Clare ‘Not Suitable’ For County Development Plan Targets

An Ennis housing developer says current zoned land in Clare ‘isn’t suitable’ for targets set out in the future County Development Plan.

It’s after preliminary Census figures showed the county’s population is rising faster than new housing stock is coming on stream.

The process of preparing a new County Development Plan to take effect from 2023 to 2029 is well underway, with initial public consultation submissions having been taken earlier this year.
