Over €1 Million Allocated For Retrofitting Of Clare’s Social Housing

Over €1 million has been announced by the Housing Minister for the upgrading of the energy efficiency of local authority homes in Clare.

It’s part of a €25 million fund being rolled out nationwide, and sees grants of up to €22,800 available per property for work including heating upgrades and solar panels.

This marks the latest round of funding under the programme, which has seen the retrofitting of around 68,000 homes across the country so far.
