The Chair of Clare County Council’s Housing Committee says he’s hopeful of further ‘positive engagement’ with the Housing Minister regarding affordable homes in Clare.
Minister Darragh O’ Brien met with senior officials from the local authority here yesterday while launching more than 150 new social homes across the county.
It’s understood two projects under the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme are on the table, with the Council set to table applications for the urban centres of both Ennis and Shannon.
