Clare Pyrite Group Expressing Frustration Over Prospect Of ‘Another Winter’ Without Redress

The Vice Chair of the Clare Pyrite Action Group is expressing frustration about the prospect of ‘another winter’ without State redress.

The Group is holding a meeting with public representatives in Ennis this evening, six weeks to the day after Housing Minister Darragh O Brien visited this county and promised an answer on Clare County Council’s application to the Defective Concrete Blocks Scheme ‘within weeks’.

More than 100 households in this county are now believed to be impacted by the mineral.
