House prices in Clare are estimated to have jumped by nearly 6 percent in the past year.
A new report from property website Daft.ie suggests the average price of a home in this county is now above €234,000.
Daft.ie’s House Price Report for the fourth quarter of 2022 has been released today and shows that property prices in Clare fell by 1.6 percent between October and December.
However, there’s been a 5.7 percent jump in year-on-year prices in the Banner, with prices now up 95 percent from their lowest ever recorded point.
A three bed semi detached house here will now set you back an average of €166,000, while a four bed in Clare is now estimated to be €306,000.
However, the price of a five bed has dropped by one percent and will cost less than a four bed, at €299,000.
Meanwhile, the median price of a newly built home in Clare is €310,000 according to the report.
The analysis shows it’s now more expensive to buy a home in this county than in Tipperary, Waterford City or Limerick County.
Clare’s overall price increases are among the lowest in the country, with just three counties – Cork, Monaghan and Meath – recorded lower percentage jumps in the final quarter of last year.
