A Clare Government Senator says he’s ‘concerned’ about the Department of Housing’s will to extend the provisions of the Defective Concrete Blocks Scheme to this county.
It comes after Minister Darragh O Brien unveiled an enhanced multi-billion euro scheme this week that, as of now, only applies to impacted Donegal and Mayo homeowners.
Clare County Council has been asked to provide ‘further information’ to the Department of Housing in order to rubber stamp Clare’s inclusion in the initiative.
