Biggest Ever Drop In Homeless Figures Will Give “Fresh Hope” To People In Midwest

The CEO of Midwest Simon is hopeful that the biggest ever monthly drop in homeless figures will give fresh hope to people looking for a permanent home.

According to the Department of Housing’s December report, more than 700 people left homelessness last month, with a total of 368 people in the Midwest region finding a permanent home across 2019.

The data also reveals there were a total of 451 people, including 126 children, classed as living in emergency accommodation.
