Auctioneer Insists Tax Reduction Needed To Stop Clare Landlords Leaving The Market

It’s claimed Clare landlords are continuing to leave the market because they’re being penalised by high taxes.

New research conducted by economist Jim Power for the Institue of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) has found that 97% of landlords plan not to invest further into residential property.

The report also states that the introduction of Rent Pressure Zones in 2016 has created a ‘two-tier’ rental system and has prevented rents from falling.
