Separately this morning, house prices in Clare have jumped by over 6% in the past year.
A report from MyHome-dot-ie shows the average price of a 3-bed semi in the county is now 159,000 euro.
Nationally, prices have risen by 6% as well, though the average cost of a home in Ireland is much higher at 268,000.
