House Prices Jump By 12%

House prices have jumped more than 12 per cent – the fastest growth in three years.

The latest update from the CSO shows prices also jumped 3 per cent in a single month this year between June and July, that’s the fastest growth in 3 years.

The national mean average for a house is now €276,000, jumping to €413,000 in Dublin.
