House Prices In Clare Rise By 14% Since This Time Last Year

House prices in Clare were 14% higher in December 2021 than at the same time last year.

It comes as daft.ie released their House Price Report for the fourth quarter of this year.

The figures released by daft.ie in their House Price Report for the fourth quarter of this year shows that house prices in Clare have risen by 14% over-all compared to the same period in 2020.

It is reported that supply across Munster is at a new low, with just over 3,400 properties on the market in the province on December 1, down from 4,568 on the same date a year ago.

Despite the shortage, the number of transactions is up.

Reflecting the impact of Covid-19 last year, there were 26% more transactions in Munster in the nine months to September 2021 than the same period a year earlier: that’s 10,300 compared to just under 8,200.

The asking price for a one bedroom apartment in Clare is €87,000, a rise of just over 12% while the asking price for a three bedroom semi-detached house in this county has risen by 20% to €156,000.

The average price of a property across Clare stands at €219,745, which is slightly higher than in neighbouring counties Limerick and Tipperary.
