Hospitality VAT Rate May Face Scrappage

We could see the special VAT rate for the hospitality sector scrapped.

The industry has a nine per cent rate, after it was lowered during the recession.

But the Department of Finance thinks it’s ‘done its job’ and needs to be raised to 13.5 per cent again.
