A hosepipe ban for Clare and 12 other counties is being lifted from Thursday.
Uisce Eireann says the conservation order for Clare, Galway, Donegal, Kerry, Leitrim, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Monaghan, Roscommon, Sligo, Cavan and Westmeath will expire at 11.59 on Wednesday night.

However, it will be extended for the remaining 13 counties in the east and south of the country until the end of September.
The lifting of the ban in some parts of the country is due to improved water availability and increased rainfall.
