It’s hoped that construction on the new county library in Ennis will begin next year.
Clare County Council’s Social Development Committee has been given an update on the progress of the new building in Ennis, which is set to cost 8.6 million euro.
Provisional approval has been received for the project to proceed to planning, and Council Director of Services Liam Conneely expressed confidence that builders will be on site next year.
