It's hoped that works to rejuvenate a historic market place in Ennis will give the town centre a welcome boost.

The Ennis Market Rejuvenation project has just gotten underway at Garraunakilla, marking an investment of close to 2-million-euro in the site.
When completed, the location will provide a fully covered Farmer's Market and, when not in use by traders, will be available for car-parking.
Works are expected to be completed in seven months, with the local authority offering assurances that the impact on residents and traders will be kept to a minimum.
Ennis Cllr Johnny Flynn says the market will be a welcome amenity in the area.
