Hope has been expressed that the Eastern Burren region will be enhanced by the presence of the Púca.
It’s been confirmed that the controversial bronze art piece, which was originally comissioned for Ennistymon, will be housed in the Michael Cusack Centre in the heart of the Burren from next month.

The Cathaoirleach of the Board says there’s many reasons why the Cuack centre is the best home for the staute, including that the location was historically named ‘Poll a Phúca’.
Dónal Ó hAiniféin believes the Púca has been misunderstood and he’s hopeful the sculpture will attract many visitors interested in understanding his story.
