Hopes Of Flooding Relief In North Clare

It’s hoped that new funding to stave off further flooding in North Clare will be of some relief to householders hit particularly badly in the past few years.

100 thousand euro is being allocated to Clare County Council to carry out relief works at Kil naboy in Corofin

The  works at Roughnan will include the provision of a new piping system and an increase to embankments around houses in the area.

Clare Fine Gael Government TD Pat Breen says the funding will go a long way to alleviating flooding in the area
