Hopes New Campaign Will Help Fill Midwest Jobs Vacancies

Its hoped a new campaign will help fill the high number of vacant positions at companies in the Midwest.

There are over 1,012 open posts in Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary, with over 630 in IT, Engineering Pharma and Science.

This prompted the “Move MidWest” campaign and website, which aims to support FDI and indigenous companies in the region.

Mary McNamee from Limerick Chamber of Commerce says three are plenty of opportunities in the Midwest.
