Hopes have been expressed that residents in Clare's local authority houses will see problems in their homes dealt with in a more timely fashion this year.

It's after Councillors passed a motion calling for a full review of the local authority's policies in this area.
Some local representatives have joined with residents in complaining about very long delays for maintenance or repair works, and say their problems haven't been shared by people who are moving into homes.
Shannon Independent Councillor Gerry Flynn says a large number of people are looking for improvements in their homes.
