Hopes greens government pull out spells end for boundary change.

It’s hoped that the decision by the Greens to pull out of Government, could spell the end of the row regarding a possible extension of Limerick into Clare.

Meelick Councillor and Fianna Fail representative Cathal Crowe claims the move should spell the end of the Brosnan report into the future of governance in the Mid West

The report had called for Westbury and Shannon Banks to fall under the control of a new unitary authority for Limerick, but that looks almost certain not to be passed by the current government.
