Over 400 people attended a public meeting in the Falls Hotel last week, amid reports that the facility has been sold to German supermarket chain Aldi.
Neither the retailer nor Clare Marts have made public comment, but a group of farmers are hoping to organise a meeting with Mart officials this week.
