It's hoped that Christmas parking incentives in Ennis will lead to a boost for businesses in the town.
There'll be free parking after 3 o'clock on Thursdays to Saturdays, from this week, in an effort to encourage people to stay in the town for longer during the festive period.
It comes ahead of a workshop in January, which will see a debate around the reduction of parking charges in the town.
Vice-President of Ennis Chamber, Will Caher says sales haven't been as good for businesses, as hoped, so far this year, but they hope that these incentives will lead to a successful Christmas season.
