It’s hoped an event taking place in Ennis next month can help people “to live better lives” following a brain health diagnosis.
The Creative Brainwaves seminar, which will take place at the Temple Gate Hotel in Ennis on September 11th, will showcase initiatives in the creative arts and how they can support people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and other brain health conditions.

The event, supported by Clare County Council’s Age Friendly Programme, will also include a talk from Dr Kevin Quaid about his lived experience with Lewy body dementia.
Clare’s Age Friendly Ambassador and Atlantic Fellow for Equity and Brain Health, Mike Hanrahan, is optimistic the event will significantly benefit those who attend.
