Locals will have the opportunity to have their say on the management and governance of the Mal Bay water catchment area in north and west Clare.
The Local Authority Waters Programme is hosting a community information meeting this evening in the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon from 7:30pm.

The meeting will discuss the potential for the foundation of a Community Catchment Forum for Mal Bay which includes the Inagh and Ballymacraven rivers, with a focus on water quality in region.
LAWPRO Senior CWO for the South-West, Ruairí Ó Conchúir, says as the Mal Bay catchment is a pilot, it can inform how community forum engagement can be rolled out nationwide.
