A Clarecastle Councillor hopes Clare's Junior Minister Pat Breen can use his influence at cabinet level to secure a more certain future for Roche workers.

Yesterday, Deputy Breen's fellow TD Joe Carey called on the The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation to do more to save jobs there, including travelling to Switzerland to meet company bosses.
Mary Mitchell O'Connor responded in a statement, saying she's satisfied that all avenues are being pursued in an effort to secure a new buyer for the Clarecastle site.
Councillor Paul Murphy says it's up to all public representatives to try and secure the jobs there.
