It’s hoped the addition of 70 new jobs at an East Clare biomedical factory will have a rippled effect on the economy as a whole.
Beckman Coulter yesterday announced a major expansion of its plant at Lismeehan, near Tulla, which will commence in January.

The firm is a major employer in the surrounding towns and villages and the additional jobs have been receiving a broad welcome as a boost for rural Clare.
