The wheels are in motion to source a laser device for the local authority, to use across the county to deter criminals from stealing valuable items.

Property Marking Ireland is the company behind a high-tech laser etching machine, which tags everything from tractors to mobile phones, which it claims has already led to a 25% drop in these crimes in border counties.
