Hope has been expressed that East Clare can be marketed as a tourism destination with something for everybody.
A business and networking event is being held at the Kilkishen Cultural Centre on Thursday to encourage local business owners to engage in promoting the region.
With the development of Inis Cealtra by Clare County Council as a tourist destination on Lough Derg, it’s hoped the surrounding communities will be able to attract some of the passing footfall too.
