Homeowners in Clare are being encouraged to apply for insulation grants to help reduce their energy bills.
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland has introduced increased assistance grants for insulation of up to €6,000.

The grant can cover around a third of the total cost of the works and various levels of funding are provided for attic, heating system or external wall insulation.
Over 14,000 homes across the county have availed of the grants to date – and homeowners can apply for grants online at SEAI.ie.
